Hello from Peter and Jacqui of P & J Dancing. If you want a social dance that is different, where you can relax and enjoy the friendly banter and get a complete mix of dances then come and try us!

Peter and Jacqui We hold social dances at Langley Mill Miners Welfare and Bramcote Memorial Hall. Each venue has its own unique but very friendly atmosphere where you will be made really welcome the moment you step through the door.

We believe that to enjoy your dancing you do not need to be constrained within a dress code, so we encourage everyone to dress in a way that they feel comfortable. If that means T-shirt and jeans that's ok with us. The only exception to the rule is for the Social Black Tie dance in summer where we require the gentleman to wear a minimum of shirt and bow tie. Whether he decides to wear trousers is entirely up to him!

We have classes for beginners and improvers at our Bramcote venue. These classes are in Ballroom, Latin American and Sequence dancing and can be covered by either group or private lessons. Whether you want to learn a basic dance for your wedding/special occasion or learn to dance as a social skill, these are the venues to visit.

  • Social Dances are now held every week at Langley Mill Miners Welfare (see location) on Wednesday evenings between 8:00 and 10:00. There is a licensed bar.

  • Social Dances are also held every week at Bramcote Memorial Hall (see location) on Friday evenings (at the new time)between 7:30 and 10:15 pm. Tea and coffee are available but there is no licensed bar, however, you are welcome to bring your own favourite tipple to consume on the premises.
